Discography Of Death Row Records

G-Rapの代名詞的存在、Death Row RecordsのDiscographyを紹介します。
Death Row RecordsはDr.DreとSuga Knightによって立ち上げられたレコード会社で、現在のGangsta Rapの基盤を作ったとともに、G-Rapの方向性を位置づけるほどの影響力を誇った怪物レーベルです。
G-Rapを聴いている方々は僕も含めて、ここで紹介している作品を基準としていることが少なくないと思います。
3年前くらいに、Death Row Recordsの版権をWIDEawakeというデラウェア州の企業が買い取り、未発表音源などが少しずつリリースされています。
Death Row Recordsが出来て２０年近く経ちますが、その音楽はいまだにG-Rap好きな人たちの心を魅了し、影響を与え続けています。Gangsta Rapを聴く上で避けられない存在であるDeath Row Recordsの軌跡を紹介しますので、是非とも参考にしてみてください。
